A dynamic duo of vocals, guitar and percussion. We perform original Alternative Country,
Acoustic Folk, Roots and Blues; works with a focus on matters of the heart (relationships, loneliness, love and loss) and social and environmental issues facing current and future generations.
We simply wish to connect with community through shared experience placed in verse and tone.
Jocean, three years ago were buskers at the Australian Blues Festival Goulburn,then as members of Illawarra Folk Club did "Figgy Folk Sessions" and entered Illawarra Folk Club's and University of Wollongong's songs about climate change contest and were selected to present our song"Earth Song"-"She's Dying, She's Crying She's trying to tell you the truth"; in a concert at City Digger's Club Wollongong. We wrote and presented a further song "For The People" at Illawarra Folk Festival 2018 as well as performing our "Set" later the same day.
Regular Buskers at Kiama and participants in the National Busker's Championships at Narooma South Coast NSW. and Jamberoo Valley NSW.(May and July 2018.) Performances include Perisher Peak Festival, at the opening of the snow ski season the long week-end June 2018; Kiama Farmers Markets, Kiama Grower's and Maker's Markets, Berry Farmers Markets, Kiama Jazz and Blues "Music in the Park".
As well as spending time in the Recording Studio to get our E.P; "out there" Wiseman's Park Bowling and Social Club has allowed us to showcase our music twice to date. We are experiencing increasing favour with our original singer-songwriter songs music and our "take" on covers like Tracy Chapman's "Give Me One Reason";Missy Higgin's "Watering Hole" and Ziggy Albert's "Heaven".
