Me & Pete formed in 2016 and began playing their original songs and selected covers around Sydney and the Illawarra. Their style has been described as soft rock or folk rock with an infusion of blues & smooth jazz. Featuring Ray Handley on vocals and electric rhythm and supported by the multi-instrumental talents of Pete Sinclair on harmonies, blues harp, flute and saxophone their music is evocative and melodic. Their songs draw on their wide experience and incorporate themes of love, personal challenge, the paths once taken and issues of social justice.
Me & Pete have recorded several demo EPs - A suitcase & a cardigan in 2017 and The road we come in 2018. They have play various venues such as the Gasoline Pony bar, Kelly's on King, The Illawarra Folk club and the Northern Beaches Music Festival (2017) as well as other pubs and bar around Sydney and Wollongong.
