Overview
Pyro & Pump are well known around the Australian Folk scene, and have benn collaborationg on music for over 25 years. Both were key front men in the Wheeze & Suck Band. Tony Pyrzakowski ('Pyro') is a classically trained fiddle player with extensive experience in bands in the NSW folk scene. Ian Macintosh ('Pump') is an award winning songwriter, and melodeon player with Traditional Graffiti; and an experienced teacher of traditional dance. He began performing in the early 1970's, and shared stages with the likes of Ewan McColl and June Tabor to name but two.
As members of the Wheeze & Suck Band the pair have released eleven CD's, and numerous solo and collaborative albums. Currently Tony and Ian have been working on an original music collaboration, 'The Bedlam Suite'.
