Overview

Abigail Wighton is a singer-songwriter based in Sydney on Wangal land. She is known for her sweet voice, heartfelt lyrics, beautiful acoustic guitar playing and witty interludes that surprisingly feel like a chat with your best friend. Abigail has opened for Fanny Lumsden, Colin Buchanan, Alex Lloyd and Maggie Rigby. Abigail was invited to showcase at the 2024, 2025 and 2026 National Folk Festival on the blackboard stage. Abigail released her 2nd EP ‘soon’ in 2024 which was accompanied by an 8 stop tour and radio play on ABC’s Saturday Night Country. Abigail graduated from the Country Music Association of Australia senior academy course in 2025. Abigail has spent 2026 polishing and recording a new batch of songs and can’t wait to share them with you.
