Overview
Lux Trevis grew up in a musical family in Brazil playing and listening to samba and jazz. He started playing percussion when he was a baby and picked up the guitar at the age of 7. At the age of 13, he got into hip hop music production which helped him to expand his music creativity. Becoming a producer opened his mind to explore new sounds, which lead him to start playing flute, saxophone, keys, bass and drums. His act is a mixture of funk, jazz, samba, blues, reggae and soul all infused into hip hop music. He uses a loop station and a drum machine to get the beats going and records and improvises on top of it with his other instruments.
