Academy Award winner Ben Osmo (Sound Mixing: Mad Max - Fury Road 2016)
has enjoyed a career travelling the world on Feature Films, documentaries
as a Production Sound Mixer.
Ben has always been a singer-songwriter as well, so when touring on films, his guitar and flute have always been packed for travel. There have been many oportunities to sit in and play with musicians around the world and also perform his own gigs.
Ben recently stepped away from film making, so more time is now devoted to writing and performing in Sydney his home town.
Ben has performed at many NBMF over the years as well as the Shack and various venues and private functions. Lately he's enjoyed plaing at vaious Markets around Sydney. Many of his songs reflect personal experiences of places and people met in the travels along the way.
As well as his originals, Ben Osmo's set list has a wide eclectic choice of covers, each with a personal arrangement for vocals, guitar and flute.
Heartfelt songs, rhythmic and melodic with an acoustic soul.
