Abigail Wighton is a singer-songwriter based in Sydney. Her love of storytelling features in her soul-bearing lyrics, sweet melodies and finger-style guitar playing. Her music is a blend of folk and indie-pop with influences ranging from Missy Higgins, Vera Blue and Dodie.
This past year she has enjoyed playing at a variety of festivals and venues including the Courtyard Sessions at the Seymour Centre, Annandale Hotel, Illawarra Folk Festival, Quinty Folk Festival, Newstead Live and many more. Abigail released her debut EP in November 2019 along with her headline show at ‘The Newsagency’. The EP titled ‘interwoven’ includes five of her favourite songs that are her reflections on the highs and lows, beauty and sadness of life.
